Many people these days have debt, some people more than others, in fact, some people have so much debt that they do not know how to get out of it and sometimes feel that it would be better to just fold up all their debt, claim bankruptcy and start over.

There is a word that is connected to debt that many people are not aware of, the word is Integrity. Before you incurred your debt, you made a promise to pay and you always keep your promises, right. Integrity ties into debt because debt is a promise to pay. In most cases, nobody forced this debt on you; this debt is really just a collection of ?previously enjoyed obligations?.

If you are upset about the amount of debt that you have, the interest that you pay on your debt, the monthly cost to maintain your debt, etc. The only person you have to be upset with is yourself. Before you incurred the debt, you agreed to the terms of paying back the debt, so you went into it with your eyes wide open and if you did not read the small print and got a surprise as a result, then shame on you.

The answer is simple and if you get it, you will be amazed that you did not think about this earlier yourself.

Set yourself a goal to attain, a goal that is more important to you than your debt, maybe it is a new house, a new car, a vacation, a diamond ring, whatever. Once you have established this goal, forget about your debt and focus on your goal.

Here is why?

If you are focusing on what you want you will get it and on your way to getting it, you will pay off your debt. You see, if you are focusing only on the debt you have, you will get more of what you focus on, more debt!

There is a thing called the Law Of Attraction, this law is just as strong and constant as the Law Of Gravity. The Law Of Attraction is simple, you get what you focus on.

So, to eliminate your debt, create for yourself a purpose, a reason why you should pay it off as soon as possible, but do not consider your debt in this at all, other than with the understanding that you will pay cash for your desired goal, the debt will get paid off along the way as a result.

Be prepared for some interesting things to happen along the way.

You may have set a goal that would be almost impossible to attain with your current employment or income and if your goal is important enough to you and you focus on it instead of focusing on your debt, opportunities for you to make more money will appear right in front of you, almost like magic. It could be a better job, you win the lottery, you decide to go out on your own and start a business, whatever. The fact is your decision to attain your goal will put in motion opportunities for you to attain it, that is how the Law Of Attraction works.
